You can also stay couple more days longer to watch the Summer Nationals, i.e. the most important tournament for young fencers in US every year.
One of the most successful camp on the west coast. this 6th visit of Coach Aspromonte vitalizes the top qualified fencers in Houston region the best possible, most intensive training before the Summer Nationals this season!
You will experience the most competitive fencers of whom you might ever tried in your fencing years!
To get the best out of this camp, we also invite the top foil coaches at Salle Mauro, Khaled Soliman, Ahmed Rosowsky and Ammar Aboelkhier to aid the coaching this year! Yes, you are experiencing TOP Italian, Egyptian and British fencing in ONE EVENT!
With the closed door approach, this full day training everyday from 9am to 3pm, you can fence with US fencers from several major clubs in the region, along with other international fencers from Italy, China, Hong Kong, Canada etc.
You will be gaining skill exchange, understanding US training culture, making new friends with the best US clubs. Aspromonte and other coaches will show you and discuss with you how to make it all the way to the world rank. The whole trip will be full of fun and inspirative to fencers of all age.

Thanks for your support on the Hong Kong Visit, Aspromonte's the first step in Asia!
It has been a long 4-month non-stop coordination and effort on organizing the camp! And this is the first event for our small team to work on and we have definitely learn a lot from the event.
This 5-day Camp taught us a lot about the local fencing atmosphere, the fencing standard, the passions from the local fencers, local challenges on organizing world-class sports training and, more importantly, the fencers' satisfaction and needs from the training.
We received a lot of compliments and support words from you all! A big THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

We would like to extend our sincere apology to any inconvenience caused during the camp!

Our biggest fencing event, co-hosted with the Macao Fencing Association and Sports Bureau and University of Macau, was unfortunately postponed due to the Typhoon Hato
strikes Macau badly last week.
The city was terribly destructed and the Doom, our event venue, requires significant repair on leakage and roof damage. The whole city including the Chinese Army have been working so hard to revitalize the city these days.
We would really like to help and Valerio Aspromonte would like to go personally to see if anything we could help. Yet we could not obtain the jet foil tickets and secure a hotel room. We have no choice but postpone the event.
In November, after Aspromonte's competition in Tokyo on 11 November, we will stay in Tokyo and fence with 5 largest clubs as a mini-camp offered to our Tokyo fencers.
After that, from 17 November, Aspromonte will come back to Hong Kong for his second camp in Hong Kong this year. We intend to invite over Olympic champions on Epee and Sabre from Italy and join our bigger event!
We are still in coordination with our Macau counterparts and see if we could organize an even bigger event in Macau, potentially with corporate sponsors and reserved venue etc.
Aim high! And we will make it!

Coach Aspromonte has developed a proven approach on fencing training, with his specific handwork and advice fencers on every match, the approach has successfully been adopted in his camps in Jesi, Italy and Houston, USA, and for all other camps across the globe. And it works very well among all age groups and levels, from age of 4 to professional fencers.
Aspromonte works closely with each fencers to ensure they know their rooms to improve, understand the rationale behind the drills, practise what they learn in matches and apply to their tournaments in the nearest future.
Due to the specific condition in Hong Kong, the focuses are more technical and practical here on the fencers' technique. In the future coming visits, we will bring Italian fencers fencing with local fencers to drive the synergies and enhance the inspired cultural differences among the fencers -- all these make the Aspromonte Visit unique.
Italian way of fencing is flexible, and different from the Eastern Europe way, yet it claims to be the most traditional and less 'standardized' way of fencing.

Salle Mauro Fencing Academy is good organizing training programs which are regularly augmented with camps and clinics during summer months in June through August, as well as in winter and spring breaks.
